Carrville Mills P.S. is committed to supporting increased student achievement and well being under the three Board focus areas of Quality Schools, Building Family and Community Capacity and Quality Workplaces. The following is an outline of our School Improvement Plan including highlights of some of the strategies to support student achievement.
Our school’s focus for curriculum implementation and student learning is Literacy with the emphasis on students being able to formulate and justify their opinion. We anticipate that the strategies we have put in place will have a positive impact across the curriculum.
Our school focus for School Climate is that staff will work together to increase student’s sense of engagement and comfort in expressing opinions, that may be different from their peers within their day to day interactions at school.
